Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Meets House Foreign Affairs Chairman Brian Mast
Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh met with Congressman Brian Mast, the newly appointed Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, earlier today.
Rep. Mast, a Florida Army veteran, was elected as the committee chair on Monday by the House Republican Steering Committee.
In a tweet, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed expressed his satisfaction with the meeting, stating:
“Delighted to meet Rep. Brian Mast—an energetic leader recently chosen as Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. We had a productive discussion on enhancing bilateral ties through deeper economic collaboration and explored opportunities to strengthen Pak-US cooperation in a changing global landscape.”
The Ambassador emphasized the importance of Pakistan in fostering international partnerships, quoting Congressman Mast, who said, “Cooperation is the best way forward.”
Ambassador Rizwan Saeed also extended his best wishes to Chairman Mast, saying, “Wished him success at every step in his important new role.”
