Murad Ali Shah and Saleem Haider meet to strengthen the PML-N and PPP alliance.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah met Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on Tuesday at the Governor’s House to discuss bolstering cooperation between the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the coalition partners.

Upon his arrival, CM Murad Ali Shah received a warm reception. The meeting covered a range of topics, including the recent discussions held by the coordination committees of PML-N and PPP at Punjab House, Islamabad.

During the discussions, Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan emphasized the importance of fulfilling PML-N’s commitments to the PPP. He highlighted the need for unity and joint efforts to address the nation’s pressing challenges.

The governor expressed optimism about the upcoming coordination committee meeting in Lahore on December 24, anticipating it would further strengthen ties between the coalition partners. He voiced confidence in the PPP’s potential resurgence in Punjab and commended Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as a true leader for the youth. Additionally, he raised concerns about the re-emergence of terrorism and paid homage to the sacrifices made by security personnel, honoring the martyrs who defended the nation’s safety.

CM Murad Ali Shah reiterated the PPP’s dedication to public welfare, especially for underprivileged communities, and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to social justice and people-centered politics.

The meeting underscored the importance of continued collaboration and coordination between the PML-N and PPP to ensure political stability and effectively address national challenges.
