Chinese company to establish facility in Punjab for robotic agricultural tool production

A Chinese company, AI Force Tech, has agreed to establish a robotic agricultural machinery manufacturing plant in Punjab. The agreement was signed during a meeting between the company’s founder and CEO, Dr. Han, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz during her visit to China.

During the visit, Maryam Nawaz briefed Dr. Han on the agricultural reforms her government plans to implement in Punjab, assuring the company of full cooperation in setting up the manufacturing facility. She also inspected the latest agricultural tools and expressed her commitment to introducing these innovations in Punjab to transform the agriculture sector.

A delegation from AI Force Tech will visit Punjab soon, following the invitation from Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

On Sunday, Maryam Nawaz also met with a high-level delegation from the Communist Party of China in Beijing. She expressed her intention to strengthen Punjab’s economy in collaboration with China. At the Beijing Airport, she was warmly welcomed by six senior representatives of the Communist Party of China.

Maryam Nawaz is the first female Chief Minister of Pakistan to visit China. The delegation accompanying her includes Senator Pervez Rashid, Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari, Minister for Transport Bilal Akbar, and Minister for Agriculture Ashiq Hussain Kirmani.

The visit will focus on exploring collaboration in Information Technology (IT), healthcare, and industry, with plans for visits to Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong. Maryam Nawaz will also meet with key Chinese leaders and government officials during the trip.
