PTI Punjab chapter president Hammad Azhar on Wednesday instructed party leaders and workers to install secret CCTV cameras, not only within their homes but also on nearby streets and in neighboring houses.
This directive followed reports of the alleged ‘abduction’ of PTI members, enforced disappearances, and raids on their homes and businesses in various provinces.
In a series of tweets, Mr. Azhar advised workers to use wireless Wi-Fi-enabled cameras, claiming that police traced and destroyed the cameras’ locations. He also accused the police of stealing DVRs (recording devices). Additionally, he called on the military to return to the barracks and cease alleged oppression against the people.
