US President-elect Donald Trump announced on Sunday that Lebanese-American businessman Massad Boulos will be appointed as his senior advisor on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs.
Trump shared the news on his Truth Social platform, praising Boulos as an accomplished lawyer and respected business leader with extensive international experience. He noted that Boulos has been a strong supporter of Republican and conservative values, playing a key role in building new coalitions within the Arab American community during Trump’s campaign.
“Massad is a dealmaker and a steadfast advocate for peace in the Middle East. He will be a strong voice for the United States and its interests,” Trump wrote.
Boulos, the father-in-law of Trump’s daughter Tiffany, joins a growing list of family members involved in Trump’s second-term administration. On Saturday, Trump also nominated Charles Kushner, a prominent businessman and father of Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, as ambassador to France.
