The Foreign Office has reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to nurturing positive relationships with all nations, emphasizing its opposition to zero-sum diplomacy.
During a weekly briefing in Islamabad, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated, “Building strong ties with one country should not come at the expense of relations with another.”
In response to a query, Baloch confirmed that there are no ongoing negotiations between Pakistan and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). She underscored that any suggestions for dialogue with the TTP are an insult to the families of terrorism victims.
The spokesperson also strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities by Israeli forces in Palestine, urging international organizations to take concrete measures against what she described as the genocide of Palestinians.
