Pakistan’s 21st consignment of humanitarian aid for the war-affected people of Palestine and Lebanon has arrived successfully in Damascus, Syria, on Wednesday.
The chartered flight, carrying 17 tons of relief supplies from the Government of Pakistan and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), was received by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Syria, Shahid Akhtar.
This delivery underscores Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to assisting those impacted by the ongoing conflicts in the region.
In a related effort last October, Pakistan sent 100 tons of humanitarian aid, including medical supplies, tents, and blankets, to support Palestinians enduring the harsh effects of Israeli airstrikes. The aid was delivered through Egypt for distribution in Gaza.
At that time, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch criticized the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for its lack of action and called for an immediate halt to the bombardment and blockade of Gaza.
Pakistan remains resolute in its support for the people of Palestine and Lebanon, continuing to provide essential relief and advocating for an end to violence and suffering.
