Toshakhana-II case hearing postponed to November 29

The hearing of the Toshakhana-II case against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, was postponed on Monday. Special Judge Central Islamabad, Shah Rukh Arjumand, chaired the session at the Judicial Complex and rescheduled the hearing for November 29. Bushra Bibi’s non-bailable arrest warrants remain in effect due to her ongoing absence.

190 Million-Pound Case Postponed In a related matter, Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana also adjourned the hearing of the 190 million-pound case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi until November 28. The session concluded without any proceedings.

This case concerns allegations of financial misconduct involving the misuse of state funds. During a prior hearing, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Bushra Bibi due to her repeated failure to appear.

FIA Files Petition for Bail Revocation In addition, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has submitted a petition to the Islamabad High Court, requesting the cancellation of Bushra Bibi’s bail in the Toshakhana-II case. The petition highlights concerns over her failure to comply with court orders.

These legal developments reflect the ongoing judicial challenges faced by Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi amidst Pakistan’s broader political and legal landscape.
