The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted mostly dry weather for many plains across Pakistan over the next 24 hours.
However, the northern regions, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and the Potohar Region, are expected to see cloudy skies, with potential rain, windstorms, thunderstorms, and light snowfall in higher altitudes. Gusty winds are also predicted in parts of upper Punjab.
According to the PMD, a westerly wave is anticipated to affect the western and northern areas of the country starting Monday.
In the last 24 hours, dry weather has dominated much of the country, with particularly hot temperatures recorded in Sindh. On Monday, the cities of Hyderabad, Lasbela, and Mithi were the hottest in Pakistan, with temperatures soaring to 42°C.
