The food prices in Gaza has increased 1000% since October 7, 2023. Half a million (500,000) Palestinians are starving due to shortage of food , water and other essentials of life. The Israel is not allowing the food stuff into Gaza. Israel even not allowing the different countries and UN organizations to deliver medicines and equipment required to provide medical treatment to ill Palestinians.
The war began with Hamas’s October 7 onslaught, which saw some 3,000 militants burst across the border into Israel from Gaza by land, air and sea, killing some 1,200 people and seizing some 240 hostages, mostly civilians, under the cover of a deluge of thousands of rockets fired at Israeli towns and cities.
Vowing to eliminate Hamas and return the hostages, Israel launched a wide-scale military campaign in Gaza, now in its 13th week, which has pushed almost all Palestinians toward the southern city of Rafah along the Egyptian border.
