Kamala Harris is losing ground to Donald Trump as the U.S. presidential election approaches, with recent polls indicating a tightening race.
According to three polls released on Sunday, Harris’s previous lead over Trump has either narrowed significantly or disappeared entirely. In the latest NBC News poll, the two candidates are now tied at 48 percent each, a stark contrast to Harris’s five-point lead in the same survey last month.
Similarly, an ABC News/Ipsos poll shows Harris leading Trump 50 percent to 48 percent among likely voters, down from a 52 percent to 46 percent advantage the previous month.
The CBS News/YouGov poll also reflects this trend, with Harris at 51 percent compared to Trump’s 48 percent, marking a decline from her earlier four-point lead. With less than a month until the November 5 election, the race is shaping up to be highly competitive.
