Today marks the observance of World Food Day, with this year’s theme being “Right to Food for a Better Life and a Better Future.”
In his message for the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring food security, promoting sustainable agriculture, and enhancing the well-being of the population.
He highlighted that the government is dedicated to supporting farmers through policies that prioritize innovation, sustainability, and modernization within the agricultural sector.
Additionally, Sharif mentioned that the government is facilitating small and medium enterprises in the food processing industry.
He concluded by reminding us that World Food Day serves as a call to action to fulfill our responsibility of ensuring food security for all.
