Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has requested a comprehensive report on the explosion that occurred near Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. In a phone call with the Sindh Home Minister and the Inspector General of Police (IGP), he instructed them to thoroughly investigate all aspects of the incident and determine its cause.
CM Murad also ordered the immediate clearance of all roads leading to and from the airport to prevent any inconvenience for passengers. He emphasized the need for the district administration to ensure high-quality medical care for those injured in the explosion.
The tragic incident, which took place on Sunday night, involved an oil tanker explosion near the airport, resulting in the deaths of at least two people and injuries to ten others.
