Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage, and Culture, Attaullah Tarar, has called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to clarify his whereabouts over the past 24 hours. Tarar expressed concern following a nationwide campaign led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, who claimed that Gandapur had been abducted.
Speaking to the media, the minister dismissed these claims as a “drama” staged by PTI. He criticized the Chief Minister for allegedly abandoning PTI workers after bringing them to Islamabad, fleeing to the KP House in the capital, and then quietly returning to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“The question is straightforward: where was he during the last 24 hours?” Tarar asked, condemning PTI’s recent attempts to discredit various institutions and individuals. He described CM Gandapur as “irresponsible,” accusing him of jeopardizing law and order, damaging Pakistan’s reputation, and putting citizens’ lives at risk.
