GCU has implemented a dress code for students that prohibits jeans and T-shirts.

Government College University Lahore has introduced a dress code that bans jeans and T-shirts for students.

According to the university’s notification, male students are required to wear dress pants and shirts, while female students must “observe simplicity” and can only wear cotton dresses.

The dress code applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The guidelines are part of an initiative to promote discipline and maintain decorum at the institution.

Students are expected to adhere to these standards, and non-compliance may result in penalties. The university’s website states that students who do not dress appropriately may be checked by any proctor and fined.
