The Horse and Cattle Show 2025 will return to Lahore after 30 years. On February 9, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate the event. A record 70 international teams will compete at the exhibition this year.
With the theme “unity, progress, and cultural revival,” the festival celebrates Punjab’s rich past and promotes agriculture and cattle. After a 1995 hiatus, the 1964 exhibition is back in full swing in Lahore till February 23.
Farmers can display their livestock and compete for rewards. Spear-throwing, archery, buzkashi, and polo sports promise spectacular displays by expert riders. Cultural festivals, flower and décor exhibitions, and children’s activities will entertain guests.
The concert will have special attractions on certain dates. A music festival will be held February 14–16, and a Sufi festival will be held February 19. Car aficionados can attend an auto exhibition on February 16 and watch kabaddi games on February 18 and 19.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said, “This event not only celebrates Punjab’s rich culture but also fosters growth in the agricultural sector.”
The Horse and Cattle Show 2025 showcases the province’s ability to preserve its traditions while fostering worldwide cultural interaction.
