Pakistani tech businesses are making a significant impact at the LEAP 2025 tech conference in Riyadh, aiming to secure transactions worth $50 million. Over 170,000 people have attended the four-day event, making it a vibrant hub for international cooperation in technological innovation.
With over a hundred firms and a thousand delegates displaying their knowledge in fields such as AI, blockchain, gaming, fintech, and robotics, Pakistan is sending its biggest delegation ever to this year’s conference. Prominent companies, including Systems Limited, Abacus, and Excellence Delivered, as well as startups supported by P@SHA, demonstrate the country’s increasing prominence in the global tech sector.
Another point driven home by the event is Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan to diversify its economy through heavy investment in technology. As the Kingdom strives to become a leading global technology hub, LEAP presents Pakistani companies with chances to collaborate with Saudi businesses and establish a greater presence in the area.
Chairman of P@SHA Sajjad Mustafa Syed was upbeat, praising the support of Saudi investors and reiterating Pakistan’s status as a leading tech player internationally. This year’s participation at LEAP is anticipated to continue last year’s trend of enabling Pakistani firms to establish business operations in Saudi Arabia, as pointed out by Muhammad Zohaib Khan, the former chairman of P@SHA.
For Pakistan’s information technology sector, the LEAP 2025 conference represents more than just short-term profits; it also heralds the country’s rise to prominence in the worldwide digital transformation movement.
