Pakistan’s premier women’s T20 cricket tournament is all set to kick off on May 7 in Karachi, bringing together five competitive teams: Strikers, Challengers, Stars, Invincibles, and Conquerors. The event will follow a double round-robin format, allowing each team to play eight matches. The top three sides will move on to the playoffs, with the final match taking place on May 24 at the National Stadium.
All fixtures will be hosted at two key venues — the National Stadium and the HPC Oval Ground. Final team selections came after a training camp held from May 3, featuring a total of 80 players.
Each team will be led by a current national-level player: Fatima Sana (Conquerors), Gull Feroza (Strikers), Muneeba Ali (Invincibles), Rameen Shamim (Challengers), and Sidra Amin (Stars), adding prestige and experience to the lineups.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced prize money exceeding Rs3 million, with Rs1.5 million reserved for the champions and Rs1 million for the runners-up. Fans can catch the playoff and final matches live on PCB’s official YouTube channel, with games starting daily at 3 PM.
This tournament is part of broader efforts to enhance women’s cricket in Pakistan, offering rising talent a chance to compete in a nationally recognized event.
