Vawda suggests that the PTI narrative could lead it into a dead end.

Senator Faisal Vawda has cautioned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) about the potential consequences of making strong statements, suggesting that such statements could lead the party into a difficult situation.

In an interview with a private TV channel, the Senator remarked that not everyone within PTI is anti-establishment or anti-institution, but every party has a mischievous group among its ranks.

Vawda alleged that there is a hidden desire within PTI for its founder, Imran Khan, to remain imprisoned so that certain individuals within the party can capitalize on his popularity.

He stated that some PTI leaders make statements to show their support for Imran Khan, but their sincerity is questionable.

According to Vawda, it is a tradition in Pakistan and South Asia to seek forgiveness from one’s father, even if there have been disagreements. He emphasized that PTI needs to demonstrate responsibility and defuse the current situation.

Vawda advised Imran Khan to keep disruptive elements at bay and prioritize the more rational members of the party, cautioning against believing in rumors.

Regarding a court decision on the Iddat case, Vawda criticized it as ‘absurd’ and suggested that unmarried couples seem to be better off based on the verdict.

On the topic of resolving conflicts, Vawda noted that worldwide, conflicts are typically resolved through dialogue. He also expressed skepticism about the possibility of reversing rigged elections, stating that it has never happened in the country’s history and is unlikely to happen in the future.
