The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has formalized a partnership with the provincial government of Sindh to establish a 20-bed hospital in Qambar district. This initiative aims to enhance healthcare services in a region where access to quality medical facilities has been limited.
The hospital, to be called Sheikh Zayed Hospital, will feature up-to-date medical infrastructure and serve the local population with improved healthcare support.
This initiative represents a significant component of the UAE’s overarching strategy to enhance healthcare systems throughout Sindh. Previous contributions include expanding the Sheikh Zayed Hospital for Women in Larkana and planning a new women and children’s facility in Sukkur. These projects reflect the UAE’s ongoing support in uplifting essential services in Pakistan through long-term, humanitarian-focused collaborations.
