In a significant move to bolster technological advancement, Sindh is set to establish a provincial Artificial Intelligence (AI) task force. This initiative emerged from a recent gathering in Karachi, where AI experts and professionals from sectors such as science, technology, health, and education convened to discuss collaborative strategies. The consensus was to unify ongoing AI efforts across the province, fostering a more integrated and innovative approach.
The proposed task force will comprise specialists from both the public and private sectors, aiming to evaluate and enhance AI-related research in industry and academia. The discussion featured several prominent participants, including Adnan Zaidi, CEO of Proxima; Dr. Khalid Khan from PAF-KIET; Ayaz Ahmed and Raza Abbas representing Security AI; along with Sofia Hussain Ehtesham and Mohsin Kareem from FAST.
