ISPR reported security forces killed seven terrorists in two confrontations in Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday.
ISPR reports that terrorists, known as Khwarij (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) militants, engaged in activities in the Daraban and Maddi districts.
The Security Forces undertook an intelligence-based operation in Daraban after Khwarij was reported. According to ISPR, four khwarijs were condemned to hell after our troops attacked them during the operation.
Own troops defeated three khwarij in another encounter in Maddi. The khwarij, who continued terrorist activities in the area, was also found with weapons and ammo. Sanitization operations were underway to eradicate any remaining terrorists because “the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism” from the country, according to the ISPR.
President Asif Ali Zardari commended the security forces for executing seven terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan. The operations would continue until terrorism is eradicated, he warned.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif lauded the security forces’ terrorist defeats. “The nefarious designs of these enemies of humanity will be crushed,” stated. “The war against terrorism will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism,” he said.
