Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, during promotions for his upcoming film Sikandar, expressed interest in working with emerging actresses like Ananya Panday and Janhvi Kapoor. However, he highlighted that public scrutiny over age differences poses challenges.
Despite these perceptions, Salman remains committed to collaborating with younger talent, viewing it as an opportunity to mentor and support them. “I collaborate with them believing it’s a great opportunity for them, and despite the criticism, I’ll keep doing it,” he added.
Addressing his 31-year age difference with Sikandar co-star Rashmika Mandanna, Salman stated, “If the actress has no issue, then others shouldn’t either.”
Salman also commented on the decline of multi-starrer films in Bollywood, attributing it to actors’ insecurities. He noted that in his earlier days, ensemble casts were common and fostered camaraderie among actors.
These insights shed light on the complexities of casting dynamics in Bollywood and the influence of public perception on film collaborations.
