Lahore (Pakistan News): Severe fog has led to the closure of Motorway M-2 from Lahore to Kot Momin for all types of traffic. According to Motorway Police spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed, M-11 from Lahore to Sialkot is also closed due to fog, along with the Eastern Bypass, M-3 from Faisalpur to Samundari, and M-4 from Pindi Bhattian to Gojra.
The spokesperson stated that the motorway closures aim to protect public life and property. Visibility has drastically reduced on national highways at Lahore, Manga Mandi, Phool Nagar, Pattoki, Jambar, Renala Khurd, Okara, Sahiwal, Chichawatni, Kaswal, and Iqbal Nagar.
With motorways closed, traffic has shifted to national highways, and police are actively managing traffic flow. Authorities warned that fog patches at certain locations pose extreme risks for drivers.
