Lahore (Pakistan News) — Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has stated that terrorism cannot be eliminated through the use of force alone; rather, it is essential to address and remove its root causes.
Addressing a Jamaat-e-Islami training convention at Mansoorah, he said that reclaiming illegally occupied resources from the government has become unavoidable. He also expressed concern over the rulers’ silence and weakness on major national and international issues such as Kashmir and Palestine.
Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman made it clear that no mediation on Kashmir would be acceptable without the participation of the Kashmiri people. He further stated that Pakistan should not be part of international forums on Gaza that go against the Palestinian stance.
He said that Pakistan was established to enforce the system of Allah, justice, and fairness, not to allow a few families to control power and resources. He warned that suppressing public opinion and imposing governments through Form 47 would further aggravate the country’s problems. He emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami is striving not for individuals, but for a complete transformation of the system.
Criticizing the Sindh government, Hafiz Naeem said that Karachi is the economic hub of Pakistan and a city of all nationalities, which cannot be sacrificed to ethnic or dynastic politics. He added that freeing Karachi from what he termed a “fake government” is the people’s right, and Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its struggle through public power. He asserted that the government would not be able to stop the planned protest sit-in.
