Islamabad (Pakistan News): Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Asim Iftikhar stated that terrorist elements in Afghanistan pose a threat not only to Pakistan but to global peace and security.
In his statement, Asim Iftikhar emphasized that the Taliban regime is providing sanctuary to terrorists, and militants originating from Afghanistan have targeted innocent civilians in Pakistan. He further noted that counter-terrorism operations have led to the recovery of foreign weapons, highlighting dangerous activities in the region.
