Islamabad (Pakistan News):The Supreme Court has restored the promotion rights of government officer Fakhar Majid in a case concerning delays in promotions for civil servants.
The court overturned the decision of the Punjab Service Tribunal and emphasized that a deserving employee’s promotion is a fundamental right, and administrative negligence or delays should not affect the employee.
The 7-page written verdict was issued by Justice Ayesha Malik, and the case was heard by a three-judge bench comprising Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Muhammad Hashim Kakr, and Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim.
