Karachi (Pakistan News): The Sindh High Court’s constitutional bench has directed the registration of an FIR for the recovery of missing citizens.
During the hearing, the petitioner’s lawyer stated that the individuals were taken into custody from their homes by police officers and transferred to Sachal Police Station, but the police claimed to have no information regarding their whereabouts. All responses submitted by the parties were recorded in the court proceedings.
The court instructed the petitioner to file an FIR at the relevant police station and ordered authorities to ensure the recovery of the missing citizens.
The petition for the recovery of Shah Waliullah and Abdul Latif was filed by Rasmat Rabia Basri, naming the IG Sindh, DIG West Karachi, CTD Civil Lines, SHO Sachal, and others as respondents.
