Islamabad (Pakistan News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.
Both leaders expressed deep concern over the escalating crisis in the Middle East. The Prime Minister briefed President Erdogan on Pakistan’s contacts with Gulf countries’ leadership and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to playing a constructive role in resolving the crisis.
The leaders also agreed on the importance of restraint and patience to prevent further escalation. Prime Minister Sharif updated the Turkish President on recent developments in Afghanistan. Both sides agreed to continue joint efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
