Islamabad (Pakistan News):A second spell of rain and snow has intensified across Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and other parts of the country. Heavy snowfall has been reported since late night in Quetta, Qalat, Mastung, Kan Mehtarzai, Muslim Bagh, and Chaman, further dropping temperatures.
The Meteorological Department warned that the spell may continue for the next two days, with a risk of flooding in streams and rivers in hilly areas.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued alerts to the concerned districts, deploying heavy machinery and personnel on national highways. Authorities have urged the public to avoid unnecessary travel to prevent accidents.
