Karachi (Pakistan News): Governor Sindh, Kamran Tessori, visited the site of the fire at Karachi’s Gul Plaza and reviewed ongoing relief operations. The Governor emphasized that saving lives is the foremost priority and ensured that over 100 individuals inside the building were evacuated immediately to safety.
Tessori also gathered details about the fire, noting that the plaza houses thousands of shops, and advised shopkeepers to take measures for their own safety in the future. Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal and MQM leader Farooq Sattar expressed deep sorrow over the loss of human lives. Relief teams continue to assist the affected and are carrying out immediate rescue operations.
