Islamabad (Pakistan News): The administration of the federal capital has made it mandatory to register with the district authorities for setting up iftar spreads on various roads during Ramadan.
According to a district administration spokesperson, individuals wishing to set up iftar spreads can submit applications with full details. The administration will then ensure site marking, security, and provision of other facilities. So far, a total of 18 applications have been received from across the city.
The spokesperson added that permissions will be granted after site inspections by assistant commissioners, and public iftar setups will not be allowed without proper registration.
