Islamabad (Pakistan News) – The holy month of Ramadan has begun in Pakistan from Thursday, 19 February. With the arrival of the first fast, an atmosphere of happiness, devotion, and spirituality has spread across the country.
Preparations for Ramadan are visible in villages and cities throughout Punjab, where mosques, markets, roads, and key landmarks are adorned with lights and decorations. In Rawalpindi, preparations to welcome Ramadan are at their peak. Neon signs reading “Ramadan Watchmen” illuminate major roads, markets, and intersections, while colorful lights adorn green belts along the streets.
At various locations in the city, the sacred names of Allah are displayed, and vibrant lights on trees create a spiritual ambiance. Entrance points of markets feature Ramadan-themed arch lighting, attracting public attention.
In Chakwal and Talagang, streets, markets, and main roads are beautifully decorated, with illuminated decorative arches and special lighting seen in “Ramadan Watchmen Bazaars” and “Watchmen Dining Areas.” Similarly, in Attock, Khushab, Mianwali, and Faisalabad, markets present captivating sights, reflecting the spiritual enthusiasm of citizens during Ramadan.
