Islamabad (Pakistan News) — The pre-arrest bail petitions of Imran Khan, founder of PTI, for six cases, and Bushra Bibi, for one case, have been approved.
The written verdict was issued by Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka at the District and Sessions Courts in Islamabad, granting bail in the Toshakhana fake receipt case.
The court noted that the prosecution failed to present any solid evidence against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. While the prosecution claimed that the receipts were seen on social media, no forensic report has been submitted to date.
The court further stated that there is no proof that Imran Khan or Bushra Bibi submitted fake receipts to the Election Commission or the Cabinet Division. Bail has also been granted in cases involving allegations against high-profile individuals, as the prosecution could not provide acceptable evidence regarding the military or other related matters.
