Islamabad (Pakistan Khabar): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed their wishes for happiness, prosperity, and unity for the nation on the occasion of the New Year.
President Zardari said that Pakistan is not immune to challenges, but we are not powerless either. Through unity, perseverance, and creativity, the country can overcome difficulties.
In his New Year message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended New Year greetings to all citizens, hoping that each day of the new year would bring national integrity and harmony. He stated that 2025 will be remembered in history as a golden year for national defense.
Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the achievements of the armed forces, saying that they thwarted enemy designs and made history in the battle for justice, with the Pakistan Air Force safeguarding the country’s airspace. He emphasized that the nation, together with the armed forces, will always be a strong and resilient shield in defense of the country.
The Prime Minister also paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the motherland in terrorist attacks and reiterated that the government is making every effort for the country’s economic prosperity, noting that recent economic indicators reflect the government’s correct and positive direction.
