PIA Under Rigorous Safety and Flight Standards Audit Until January 16

Islamabad (Pakistan News): The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has initiated a comprehensive Air Operator Certificate (AOC) audit inspection of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). The audit covers all aspects of the airline, including flight safety, aircraft inspections, and pilot training.

During the audit, CAA inspectors will examine PIA’s aircraft maintenance, safety management systems, air navigation records, and international certifications. All department heads have been instructed to keep their records fully updated.

Sources indicate that the audit will serve as a critical milestone for PIA’s flight operations in Europe and the UK. In addition to operational safety, inspectors will assess the airline’s financial health, engineering, pilot licensing and training, customer service, and compliance with international flight safety standards.

The AOC audit inspection will continue until January 16, with the results expected to play a decisive role in shaping the airline’s future operations and adherence to global aviation standards.
