Islamabad (Pakistan News): Pakistan’s defense strategy and military diplomacy have established it as a strong and comparable power in South Asia.
Indian newspaper The Hindu has acknowledged Pakistan’s growing global significance and successful military diplomacy. According to the publication, the reception of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir by U.S. President Donald Trump in May 2025 and the achievements of Pakistan’s defense industry proved beneficial for the country.
Defense agreements with Saudi Arabia and strengthened relations with the United Arab Emirates have boosted Pakistan’s defense exports. The Hindu also noted that Pakistan is prepared to enter defense agreements with Azerbaijan, Myanmar, Nigeria, and Bangladesh. Through joint projects with China and Turkey, Pakistan’s defense production has reached several billion dollars annually.
