Pakistan Remains Silent on Troop Participation in Gaza ISF

Islamabad (Pakistan News): Pakistan has so far not clarified its position regarding the possible involvement of its troops in the proposed International Stabilization Force (ISF) for Gaza.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump announced that member countries of his newly formed Board of Peace have already pledged to provide thousands of personnel ahead of its first leadership meeting. The board’s first formal session is scheduled for Tuesday, February 19, in Washington, where plans for Gaza’s reconstruction and the structure of the UN-approved stabilization force are expected to be detailed.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also attend the leadership meeting. However, officials in Islamabad have neither confirmed nor denied Pakistan’s participation, stating that the matter is currently under discussion and is of a sensitive nature.
