Islamabad (Pakistan News):Global partnerships in the minerals sector are gaining momentum through the facilitation of SIFC and Vision Pakistan, signaling a bright future for the national economy.
During a meeting between Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik and Canadian High Commissioner Tariq Ali Khan, both sides agreed to enhance collaboration in mining, energy, investment, and technical cooperation.
The Canadian High Commissioner hailed the success of the Rekodak Project by Barrick Gold as a strong foundation for Pakistan-Canada mineral cooperation and reaffirmed Canada’s commitment to participate in the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum. He also extended an invitation to Pakistan to join the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) 2026, the world’s largest mining conference, which will serve as a key platform for global exposure and bilateral collaboration in the minerals sector.
