Quetta (Pakistan News): The Government of Balochistan has established a state-of-the-art New Trauma Center with 150 beds on Spain Road, Quetta, which is expected to be a major milestone in the prompt and quality treatment of accidents and emergency cases.
According to private TV reports, the trauma center will offer specialty services from various departments under one roof. The center includes four modern ICUs with a total of 31 beds. Specialist neuro, orthopedic, and general surgeons will be available 24/7 for patient care.
The center also houses a modern laboratory providing CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, mobile X-ray, and mobile ventilator facilities. Additionally, six advanced operation theaters are operational, allowing simultaneous surgeries for up to eight patients, while round-the-clock medication supply has been ensured.
Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakr visited the New Trauma Center and inspected its departments. He stated that the center is a practical example of the Balochistan government’s public-friendly policies and emphasized that concrete steps to improve the healthcare sector in Balochistan are continuing consistently.
