Peshawar (Pakistan News): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved a relief package for displaced and affected families in Tirah Valley and Khyber.
According to sources, the government has released PKR 4 billion in relief funds to assist affected families and homeless individuals. Following approval of a summary sent by the PDM, the Finance Department issued an official letter to the Secretary of Relief.
The letter instructed the Accountant General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Deputy Commissioner of Khyber District to ensure full transparency in the use of funds and to expedite the rehabilitation process for families displaced in Tirah. These funds were approved after a previous request made in November 2025 for the same purpose had been rejected.
