Islamabad (Pakistan News): Opportunities have opened up for Pakistani skilled workers, as Italy has announced the issuance of 10,500 work visas. According to private TV reports, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with his Italian counterpart Matteo Piantedosi to discuss cooperation on internal security, anti-narcotics measures, human smuggling, counter-terrorism, and illegal immigration.
During the meeting, the Italian Interior Minister confirmed that visas would be issued for Pakistani skilled workers, while holders of diplomatic passports would be exempt from visa requirements. Both ministers also reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
