Islamabad (Pakistan News): Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andarabi stated that India’s recent remarks following the terrorist attack in Balochistan actually confirm Pakistan’s position on the matter.
During a weekly briefing, Andarabi noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Qatar from February 23-24 at the invitation of Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who expressed a desire to elevate economic partnership with Pakistan. Meetings were also held with Qatar’s Defense Minister and Minister of State.
The spokesperson added that Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar is visiting Saudi Arabia to attend the extraordinary ministerial meeting of the OIC Executive Committee in Jeddah, where Israel’s illegal actions will be discussed, and he will hold bilateral meetings with foreign ministers of OIC member states.
Andarabi highlighted that this month marks the 19th anniversary of the Samjhauta Express attack, which claimed over 70 lives. Those involved, Swami Asim Anand and Indian Colonel Prohit, have confessed, yet all four culprits remain free. He emphasized that India has failed to bring those responsible to justice.
The Foreign Office strongly rejected India’s statement, asserting that it, in fact, confirms Pakistan’s stance following the recent terrorist incident in Balochistan.
