Lahore (Pakistan News): Punjab Information and Broadcasting Minister Azma Bukhari claimed that footage from the May 9 unrest in Peshawar has emerged, which has been verified by Punjab Forensics.
Speaking at a press conference at DGPR Lahore, Bukhari accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister (CM) of habitually lying and avoiding responsibility for his actions. She said that the KP CM had shared certain posts on his social media accounts, but later deleted them.
Bukhari added that a thorough analysis of footage involving Kamran Bangash, Timur Jhagra, and Sohail Afridi has been conducted, and footage of Murad Saeed is also on record, where he allegedly says: “You have been told the locations.”
The minister alleged that during the May 9 “false operation”, numerous pieces of evidence have been collected showing that the KP CM set fire near a radio station when permission was not granted at the Corps Commander House.
She further claimed that the KP CM travelled to Karachi to incite anarchy, engage in misconduct, and attack the media. According to Bukhari, during his visit to Mazar-e-Quaid, an incident of vandalism at Jinnah House occurred.
Highlighting another disturbing scene in the footage, the minister mentioned a child brought from KP for work, calling it shameful that children in the province are forced into child labor due to lack of employment opportunities.
