Islamabad (Pakistan News): The Ministry of Science & Technology has taken strict notice of alleged financial irregularities in a major development project under its subsidiary, the Pakistan Council for Renewable Energy Technologies (PAKRETT).
Sources report that funds allocated for the construction of a fast-track lab building were allegedly mismanaged and embezzled. Following this, the Ministry has initiated immediate action.
According to official documents, the Secretary of the Ministry of Science & Technology has approved a prompt investigation into the irregularities in PAKRETT’s fund utilization. Authorities have warned that strict measures will be taken against those responsible to ensure transparency and proper use of public resources in the project.
