Beijing (Pakistan News) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has arrived in China for a one-day official visit. Upon his arrival in Beijing, he was received by Pakistan’s Ambassador Khalil Hashmi and Chinese Ambassador Yue Xiao Yong.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Ishaq Dar’s visit is at the invitation of the Chinese Foreign Minister, where both leaders will review Pakistan-China bilateral relations and discuss matters of mutual interest.
Additionally, the foreign ministers of both countries will deliberate on regional developments and global issues. This marks Ishaq Dar’s second visit to Beijing this year.
Notably, Ishaq Dar is undertaking the visit despite a shoulder fracture, highlighting the importance of Pakistan’s relationship with China. The Pakistan-China partnership is based on a year-round strategic alliance, featuring close coordination and regular consultations on regional and international matters.
