The two countries of Pakistan and Qatar have decided to work together more closely to fight drug trade and control.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Ambassador Ali Mubarak Ali Isa Al-Khater of Qatar met on Thursday and came to the agreement. During their meeting, the two dignitaries deliberated on bilateral ties, shared interests, and potential areas of collaboration.
The meeting also discussed the release of Pakistani nationals held in Qatar, and the two parties agreed to collaborate on this matter.
The interior minister of Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi, responded warmly to the invitation to visit Qatar extended by the Qatari ambassador and reaffirmed Pakistan’s good relations with the Gulf nation. In addition, he shared the news that the drug control chief from Qatar will be attending a meeting in Islamabad in April, which is being hosted by the Gulf States.
Pakistan is a brotherly Islamic country, and Ambassador Al-Khater praised the significance of Qatar and Pakistan’s longstanding bilateral connection.
