Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, met with Andy Tsoi, Managing Director of Hutchison Port Holdings Limited, to expedite a proposed $1 billion investment aimed at modernizing the country’s port infrastructure.
Hutchison Ports, operating terminals HPKICT and HPSAPT in Pakistan, plans to upgrade these facilities to enhance operational efficiency, logistics connectivity, and automation. The collaboration seeks to address challenges, expedite approvals, and ensure smooth implementation of the modernization plans, thereby boosting Pakistan’s trade and maritime capabilities.
