A welcome weather shift has arrived in Lahore and other parts of Punjab. The city is experiencing chillier winter weather as the temperature drops to 8°C under overcast skies. The Meteorological Department predicts a beautiful day with a high temperature of 24°C in Lahore.
More good news is on the horizon: areas of Punjab, such as Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, and the Pothohar region, can anticipate mild rain in the near future. But severe rain is still unlikely, and cloud cover will persist throughout the day and into tomorrow for most of the country.
Thanks to the recent weather change, we are no longer experiencing the typical dryness of winter. As the heat of the day decreases, cooler nights have become a feature. Clearer evenings and less morning fog are also on the horizon for Lahore, which means less hassle for daily commuters.
Many regions of Pakistan are anticipating cold and dry weather, while those in Lahore are preparing for partly cloudy and somewhat rainy weather. Light rain or snowfall in isolated regions can enhance the winter appeal of areas like Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
For many who prefer the foggier, cooler side of winter, the weather change has been a welcome relief. It’s a short yet enjoyable break that highlights the region’s seasonal splendour.
