On March 22, 2025, a Lahore court revoked the non-bailable arrest warrant for actor Nazish Jahangir after she voluntarily appeared before the Cantt Kutchery Court and submitted a Rs50,000 bond. The warrant had been issued due to her previous non-appearance in a fraud case filed by fellow actor Aswad Haroon.
Haroon’s complaint alleges that Jahangir borrowed Rs 2.5 million and a car, promising to return them within two months, but failed to do so even after six months. The case, registered under Section 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code, is scheduled for its next hearing on April 28.
